9. Toronto Zoo: – It is situated in Toronto, Canada and it was developed in the year 1974. It is the biggest zoo in Canada. It covers an area of about 710 acre areas and has approximately 5000 animals in it. Zoos of almost the whole world are participating in an effort to enhance the knowledge regarding the dangers intimidating amphibians.

8. Smithsonian National Zoological Park – It is one of the oldest zoos in the US and situated in Washington DC. The best thing about this zoo is that the regular entrance for the people is free. The zoo is located in the Rock Creek Park and over 2000 animals and 400 species have their houses in this zoo. The area of the zoo is about 3363 acres. The National zoo is open each day of the year except on 25^th December.

7. Schonbrunner Zoo, Austria:-It is a traditional city zoo situated in Vienna, Austria in 1752. It is the oldest zoo in the world. This significant zoo contains all of the kinds of animals that people would expect to find in a main zoo: giraffe, lion, rhino, tiger, bears, elephant, many different types of birds and much more. The zoo also contains a large aquarium and a museum of natural history.

6. Berlin Zoological Garden, Germany:-It is the oldest zoo situated in Berlin, Germany in 1884. The area of the zoo is about 84 acres and about 19,500 animals and 1,500 species are present in this zoo. It has the most inclusive compilation of species in the world. It also has the globally known animals such as Giant Panda, polar bear, and Bao which have contributed the zoo a private image.

5. National Zoological Gardens of South Africa:-The zoo is situated in Pretoria, South Africa since 1889. J. W. B. Gunning is the founder of this zoo. With about 9,000 animals and 700 species in this zoo and about 210 acres of area becomes the point of attraction for the tourists. Every year more than 600,000 people visit this zoo.

4. Bronx Zoo, New York: – The zoo is situated at Bronx in New York City in 1989. The Zoo is one of the world’s biggest metropolitan zoos. About 4,000 animals and 650 species are living in this zoo and it covers about 265 acres of area. Every year more than 500,000 people visit this zoo.

3. Beauval Zoo, France: – The Beauval zoo is situated at Beauval in France in 1980. It is one of the largest zoos in France. There are about 2,000 Species and 4,000 animals living in this zoo and its area is about 212 acres.

2. Basel Zoo, Switzerland:-It is situated in Basel, Switzerland in1874. It is the biggest and the oldest zoo in Switzerland. About 1,812,438 people visit this zoo annually. The Zoo ranked as one of the fifteen best zoos in the world. There are about 645 Species and 5,000 animal living in the zoo and zoo area is about 32.12 acres

1. Animal Kingdom, Orlando: – It is the biggest single Disney theme park in the world. The area of the zoo is about 500 acres. The zoo is represented by the tree of life a sculpted 145 feet article tree. There are more than 1,500 animals living in this zoo.

10. Rusty-throated Wren Babbler (Bird)

Last spotted in 1948, it was rediscovered in 2004 in Mishmi Hills, Arunachal Pradesh. The bird responded to the recording of its nearest relative, the Rufous-throated Wren Babbler.

9. Whooper Swans (Bird)

Last spotted in 1900, it was rediscovered in 2013 in Pong Dam area of Himachal Pradesh. It’s the national bird of Finland and features on country’s one Euro coin. It’s also the heaviest flying bird.

8. Indian Peacock Blue Tarantula (Tree Spider)

Rediscovered in 1991 in Andhra, it was last spotted in 1889. Spiders aren’t known for biting but this spider is known for medically significant bite.

7. Geckoella Jeyporensis (Lizard)

It was rediscovered in Eastern Ghats in Odisha in 2012 since last spotted in 1877. The rediscovery was a joint venture and the natural history journal Hamadryad endorsed it.

6. Elegant Torrent (Frog)

Last spotted way back in 1938, it was rediscovered in Kempholey, Karnataka in 2011. Their small size and greyish brown darkly mottled back gives excellent camouflage.

5. Yellow Crested Spangle (Butterfly)

Last spotted in early 1900, it was rediscovered in Ripu-Chirang Reserve, Assam. Discovered by Kushal Choudhry, this critically endangered species is protected under India’s Wildlife Act.

4. Forest Owlet (Bird)

Considered lost around 1884, it was spooted after harrowing research spread over the northern part of Maharastra, south Madhya Pradesh, and eastern Odisha in Shahada forest range in Maharastra in 1997.

3. Great Nicobar Crake (Bird)

Last spotted in 1911, it was rediscovered in 2011 in Govind Nagar in Nicobar Islands. It was spotted by scientists of Zoological Survey of India (ZSI).

2. Polyalthia crassa( plant)

This species has lightly arching green olive flowers and petals. Found in northern Andmans and collected under a department of bio-technology programme in 2013, it was last spotted in 1920.

1. Woodrow’s Crinum Lily (plant)

A rare critically endangered bulbous plant, thought to be extinct, was rediscovered after 100 years in 2004. It’s found in Maharastra’s Satara and Kates point.

10. American Pit Bull Terrier: It is one of the polarizing breed on the earth, it is a cross breed of early bulldogs and Terriers. This breed starts attacking with wrong intention in 1980s. Some negative element of society uses this innocent animal for killing people by training them in bad manner or by putting poison in their fur. Due to this reason this breed is banned in many places like Canada, Miami-Date Country, Florida; Ontario.

9. Fila Brasiliero: This dog has its ancestry from Bulldog, Mastiff and Bloodhound. This dog is used to track down runaway slaves. Fila Brasiliero is also known as Brazilian Mastiff and is a bull breed of hunting jaguar and boar. It is highly prized for its aggressiveness and it is illegal to own this dog in the United Kingdom.

8. PresaCanario: PresaCanario is a massive fighting dog and banned in Australia and New Zealand after 2001, when a pair of Presa Canario attack and killed 33 year old coach named Diane Whipple in the hallway of San Francisco. The owner of the dog was convicted of second degree murder and still serving a prison sentence of 15 years to life.

7. DogoArgentino: This breed was first adopted by Argentina in 1928 and considered as a fighting dog. It is a mixed breed of Dogo de Bordeaux, Great Dane and Irish wolfhound. The Dogo is banned in more than ten countries including New Zealand, Australia and Portugal.

6. Boerboel: Its size is large and is a confident and strong dog breed but become aloof sometimes. It is well known as the “farm dog”. It is not a breed of the dog for the first time owner. No doubt, the dog is intelligent and has strong protective instincts. This dog was brought into the country of South Africa by a European settler to protect his family, the diamond company De Beers brought Mastiffs to South Africa to guard their mines. This breed is banned in Denmark.

5. Wolf-dog: This dog is quite unpredictable and reacts to certain situations just like a wolf. It is considered as bad pet and can attack kids. It is prohibited in Norway, where it is commonly found.

4. Neapolitan Mastiff: This dog is also known as Neo and comes from Italy. Anciently this dog is used as a gladiator dog and today they are protectors of the home. It is against the law to own this dog in Singapore and in Romania and a psychologically fit certificate is required to tame this Neapolitan Mastiff.

3. Bandog: In Middle Ages the term “ban dog’ is used for bulk sized dogs. The weight of this dog is around 80 to 150 lbs. Ban
dogs are prohibited in many countries as there are restrictions on its parent breeds.

2. American Bulldog: The American Bulldog weighs from 80 to 120 lbs and it is illegal to own in Singapore and Denmark. This dog is an expert in catching feral hogs having the weight of several hundred pounds.

1. Japanese TosaInu: This dog weighs around 80-200lbs and a mix breed of indigenous Japanese dog and various western breeds like Bull Terrier and Mastiff. It is much like a sumo wrestler and due to its heavy weight it is illegal to own this Japanese TosaInu.

10.  Sonoran coral snake

Their venom is known to be a powerful neurotoxin capable of paralysing the central nervous system. Luckily, they prefer their own kind for meals but do not take your chance. Get away from it as soon as you see one. These snakes can be found in the Southern part ofthe US, and the Mexican deserts.

9. Blue ringed octopus

This tiny creature measuring four inches looks cute when it is frightened because blue rings appear on its body that brightens up it yellow or brown colour. Do not attempt to touch it no matter how tempting because its incurable venom is toxic enough to kill 26 humans in just a few minutes. You still want to play it?

8. Brazilian wandering spider

Also known as the banana spider for hiding between bunches of bananas, this species is recognized last 2007to have the most frightening venom in the world. It only takes an hour for its victim to die after being bitten by it.

7. Deathstalker scorpion

They may have a small pincer but the venom that it releases can cause convulsions, fever, paralysis and eventually death. It normally measures two inches but some grows to be as big as four inches and are mostly found in the dry desert habitats of Africa and Asia.

6. Tarantula hawk

This is actually a type of wasp that hunts tarantula spiders to paralyse where they will lay their eggs. Be wary of their sting though because it has the reputation of being the second most painful in all the animal kingdom. When your friend complains about her heartache, tell her how much painful it is to be stung by tarantula hawks. She should feel better after hearing that.

5. Giant Japanese hornet

This species is responsible for the death of 20 to 40 people in Japan every year. This two-inch hornet is capable of dissolving your tissues while attacking the nervous system. Its venom will enter your body through a stinger that measures ¼ inch.

Who would think that a frog has enough venom to kill ten people? Well, the golden poison dart frogs can put you to eternal rest once you mess with it.

3. Cone snails

They use their harpoon to inject their venom to their preys but they can only use their harpoon once. Sounds like a good news to you? Do not rejoice because they only need to sting a human once to deliver the final blow. Your survival rate is reduced to 30% after being injected with its venom.

2. Harvester ant

The toxic venom of a single ant from this species is not enough to kill a human but you will receive a significant damage and even death once they started to flock and bite you.

1. Irukandji Jellyfish

The Australian waters serve as home to this deadly creature with a venom that is 1,000 times more powerful than a tarantula and 100 times greater than that of a cobra. And oh, it is less than one inch.

10. Identification collar: As soon as you get the dog, get a collar and put your cell number or your home address on the collar in case your dog gets lost. It will help your pet find a home if found by someone. Since the dog will be new, the people in your neighborhood won’t even recognize it.

9. Food: Don’t feed your dog with new food all of a sudden. It will mess up its metabolism. Feed the dog what it was fed in the shelter and gradually change the food. Giving new food will disturb its stomach and you won’t like it.

8. Acquaint your dog with new places: Take your dog for a walk and make sure you treat it when you pass by a park or a school or when you meet  a stranger. This way your dog will be conditioned to behave when encounter people or such places.

4. Train your dog: Teach your dog to sit and stay, and feed it some good manner. While training treats it for good behavior. Don’t assume that they will learn on the way, you have to give considerable amount of time behaving our dog.

3. Provide new things: Buy new stuff for your dog and don’t let it use the toys on your cat and the stuff lying around in your home. Buy it new bed and toy. The dog will not hesitate to take toys of your neighbor dog.

2. Interrupt when wrong: When your dog goes over excited or in an over active play, interrupt and call the dog to settle. If you have another dog at home, make sure you interrupt their active play.

1. Ranking: The dog which is oldest will be followed by  all the pets. Set up a rank and try  building an association between your pet dogs. It will be much easier to handle your pets.

Manta rays are the sea creatures which are often referred as the living carpets of the sea. These creatures are not visible with naked eyes until and unless you step on them accidentally.  This helps them to hide from the predators under the sand. Human beings are the most common creatures to be affected by albinism. This is a condition when the skin pigments and vision are greatly affected as the melanin pigment is found in fewer amounts or not found. Such is the case when there is a genetic defect and the gene transfers from the parents.

10. Takahe Bird : found in the southern part of the Hemisphere  mostly in New Zealand, they are considered as one of the most endangered species among other flightless birds. They are found mostly in the beautiful region of Lake Te Anau in the mountainous stretch of Murchison. The flightless bird is just 63cm in length with sturdy legs and reduced wings and huge bill. It is reported that just 225 birds of this species are alive as they have a slow fertility and maturity.

9. Penguin : Everyone is excited about the intelligence and the playful acts of a penguin. Yet penguin is one more adorable flightless bird . They mesmerize people with the swimming tactics and the splendid movements in water. They are mostly found in the southern hemisphere and just 20 species of them are left. Among them , the Emperor Pengiune is the smallest one.

8. Kiwi : Endemic to New Zealand , the Kiwi is the national bird of the country. The flightless bird is one of the smallest one among all the rare species. It is reported just 5 species of this species are left. The Kiwis are generally shy and that is the reason they fall into into prey most of the times. With a sharp sense of smell, they are unusual and unique.

7. Cassowary :  Second largest flightless bird after Ostrich, the Cassowary mostly fed on the plants that are edible and fruits.  Three species of this category have been identified as Southern Cassowary, Dwarf Cassowary, Northern Cassowary. They are listed as one of the dangerous birds by the Guinness Book of World Record and they have started becoming extinct.

6. Ostrich : the largest flightless bird, Ostrisch lives with its family all the time. It is a well known fact that the egg of an ostrich is bigger that the brain of human beings and thus they are considered to do crazy stuff. An ostrich can run up yo 46 miles per hours and is the fasted bird on land compared to others.

5. Rhea Birds : The native of South America , the ratite flightless bird have huge wings that spread completely while Rhea runs.. American Rhea and the Darwin’s Rhea are the two well known species of this bird discovered yet. It takes 6months to mature and they do not breed until they reach 2 years

4. Kakapo : Local of New Zealand, the Kakapo have become extinct and their fossils are found in the country. There are a lot of conservation plans to save this endangered species. Thus the number of these birds has increased gradually. The nocturnal birds are named as parrot owl as they awake in the night.

3. Emu : Emus are found in Australia and considered as the largest bird in the county. They are 2m in height and very commonly found in Australia. They have a same running speed as that of Ostrich. There are nor reports that these birds will get extinct in some time.  But still three species have become extinct.

2. Galapagos Cormorant : They are found in the great Islands of Galapagos. There are nearly 1500 birds of this species left. They have fishes, eels, small octopus and other sea creatures as their food.  These birds reproduce in the cold months of July to October, where food is in plenty of supply.

1. Dodo : The flightless bird lives in the Ocean near Mauritius. They weigh 30 kgs and 1 meter height.

10. Blobfish

This fish (if it in fact can be called a fish) is quite possible the laziest sea creature in existence and all it does is sit there. If anything worth eating passes by, it will make an effort to eat it up. By taking a look at this animal, one can’t but think about one’s own intake of carbohydrates.

9. Axolotl

This looks like one of those cute little anime pets that you see at the back of Pokemon cards. What is really weird about axolotls is its ability to regenerate any limbs that have been lost.

8. Frilled Shark

The name itself reminds you of the shark from a Disney movie. This shark wags its tail just the way Pluto does and judging by its looks, it is not your everyday shark that you are used to seeing in movies.

7. Anglerfish

The anglerfish is a very ugly species of fish and it has pointy teeth. It is usually found at the very bottom near the floor of the ocean. You do not even want to get started about its mating habits.

6. Loch Ness Monster

Monsters are classified as imaginary creatures but the Loch Ness just might be an exception. It has not yet been dismissed by the scientific community as a hoax simply because of the amount of images and videos that people have been able to bring back from the waters around Scotland.

5. Dana Octopus Squid

This squid has an odd way of capturing and eating its prey. What it does is that it gives out a flash of light to blind its prey. The prey loses its way and the squid takes advantage of that and eats it up.

4. Leafy Sea Dragon

This is one of the few creatures of the sea that is capable of camouflaging itself. Its fins are shaped live leaves and so it is quite hard to spot this guy from a distance making it look like it is just a chunk of seaweed that is swimming along.

It looks somewhat like a hovercraft when it is in motion and make a very distinct grunting sound when it is captured. So the next time you take a bite in your cheeseburger, remember to listen carefully.

2. Viperfish

Think of a baseball bat that has a head of predator. Add a few scales and teeth as gnarly as they can get. In fact, the teeth of a viperfish are so large, they don’t even fit in its mouth.

This squid has a cape that is made of arms which are connected by black webbing. The webbing helps the vampire squid propel through the water and fly like a bat. It has the ability to hypnotize its prey using the “photophores” on its arms.

10. Asian carp:  weighting to a hundred pound and reaching a length of 1.2 meters, this fish is found to be more dangerous than they look. A lot of injuries have been recorded by boat operators and sailors by jumping of the fish out of water and hurting people.

9. Sea lions: This large marine mammal is more deadly than sharks in the Pacific region. Male sea lions are more furious and terrestrial than their female counterparts and happened to attack a lot of summers. Their friendly nature shown in circus may deceive you when you meet a wild sea lion.

8. Irukandji: The tiny killer floats in the water and carries more venom than a cobra. Sometimes it’s not the ferocity that makes an animal dangerous but its vagueness. Irukandji is nearly invisible in water and swimmers encountering this tiny creature have recorded to be hospitalized.

7. Giant Anteater: These creatures can be dangerous when approached by humans. With their knife like claw and strong arms, they rip the attacker when wild. They can grow up to six feet in length and are found in South American grasslands.

6. Owl: Horned owl is believed to be ferocious when approaching its nest or when tempered. With its bent beak it pokes skull of the attacker. With the distinct quality of preying on animals three times bigger than its size, horned owl is commonly known as “flying tiger”.

5. Coyote: Coyote attacks have been recorded in human and especially on children recently. This five foot length weighing seventy pound creature leaps a long distance in once bounce. The injuries resulted from the attack are however not fatal.

4. Wolverine: Isolated and roam usually in northern regions, few attacks on humans have been recorded however the attacks of this solitary dog sized animals are fatal. Wolverine is a member of the weasel family with some special features of great speed and adaptation to the environment.

3. Orca: Well known as Killer Whale, the Orcas is considered to be more ferocious marine mammals. The famous kills of orca are sharks, whales and seals. Scientists that orcas don’t harm humans but few terrifying attacks have been recorded in the past by these creatures. The less frequent attacks may be due to less interaction with human beings.

2. Spitting Cobra: The spitting cobras have a special aperture in their mouth that allows them to spit venom at a length of their size. The nine footspider can spit venom at around eight feet directly to the eyes of the prey. If not medically treated quickly, the venom can dissolve the eyes.

1. Seal: When it comes to attacking human, the seal is not something one can miss. Found in Antarctica, the leopard seals are serpent like creatures that can chase its prey with incredible speed and cut with enormous canine teeth. Records of humans hunted by seals on land are found.

10. Jellyfish:  A kind of jellyfish Turritopsis Nutricula, is almost immortal. A newborn is about 1mm with 8 tentacles whereas an adult is around 5 meters long with 90 tentacles. This particular jellyfish reverts back to sexually immaturity. Meaning those 40 years old can turn back to a baby and reproduce again!

9. Antarctic Sponge: Sponges are animals with very little movement seen during their life. Their growth is dreadfully slow. There are around 20 species of sponge with age ranging into 20 years. On the other hand, a specimen of Antarctic Sponge is believed to live around 1500 years old.

8. Ocean Quahog:  A very calm being found usually on coasts. They bury themselves along the coast and comes out once in a while to get food and oxygen.  They live under the seabed buried deep too, breathing and eating through gills, to avoid predators. These animals usually live up to 400 years.

7. Tortoise: These animals are famous for their long life. The longevity of life depends on the health and the type of tortoise. A healthy tortoise can live up to 150 years. Adwaita, a pet tortoise of a British general, is believed to live a life of 250 years.

6. Freshwater Pearls Mussels: Possibly the oldest animals in the Europe, these creatures usually have a life of 250 years. The physiology of these animals is very tough. They can adapt to any environment and fit in easily.

5. Vestimentiferan Tubeworms: Usually found in the Gulf of Mexico, these sessile creatures live in colonies of thousands of their own kind. Sulphide oxidizing bacteria is the only source of nutrition and these bacteria get shelter in return forming a symbiotic relationship. They live up to 250 years.

4. Koi fish: Koi fish average age is 50 years old however Hanako was a Koi fish that lived more than 200 years. The age of this fish is determined by the rings on the body of the creature, much like estimating the age of trees.

3. Bowhead Whales: Second to the blue whale in weight, this animal is considered to be the oldest living mammal on earth. The normal age of Bowhead whale is around 50 years but some believed to live for more than 200 years.

2. Red Sea Urchins: This creature has been around for more than 400 million years and considered to be the largest in the sea urchin species. They are mostly sessile but sometimes move in colonies in search of food. They have an average life of 30 years but they can live up to 200 years if they do.

1. Rougheye Rockfish: The name is given due to presence of spikes along the lower rim of their eyes. These creatures grow very slowly and reach maturity very late in life. They have a normal life of 200 years.
