The cities of USA are just awesome to be in and have a residence there in. In this write-up, I have reviewed for those cities of USA which are considered to be the most expensive of all. They are expensive in the terms of living, food, lodging, education, business and to each and every bit of social life. The list for such cities continues as:-
10.) Orange County – California
This place of the Californian state in USA is the 10th most expensive city in USA. It is in fact a description about the state is that most of the part is underwater but recent surveys have reportedly indicating that the 4 out of total 10 of the most expensive cities in US belong to California. There are total 34 constituted cities in Orange County which includes Laguna Beach, Mission Viejo as well. The average sale price of a home in the place is around $380000 has been mentioned in reports of early 2012. Although, less than last year record price but it is still an expensive city in USA.
9.) Washington – D.C.
This is the place where the president of USA resides in White House. Although, being the highest priority city of USA, Washington,D.C is the 9th most expensive city of America. This is the capital city of USA as well for which is the reason for the highest collected expenses is noted down in the city. Yet, boasting of its expensiveness, the city is 12% underwater and on an average, a home is available in Washington at a rate of more than $39,200. The most surprising thing to be taken in note is that it is almost 14% more than last year rates.
8.) Nevada City – California
Truckee is the city which is located in Sierra Nevada County in California of USA. It has been ranked as the 8th most expensive place to live in USA. After Orange County, this is another Californian place in the list, and it is highly populated place of USA. An average home can be dealt in about $339000 which is almost 10% less than the proposed rates of last year.
7.) Stamford – Connecticut
This Connecticut city, Stamford offers the most valuable property in USA after New York. This place has been reported to be the highest income earning per capita over $50000. Although, 13% of the total mortgages are underwater. The city has seen a degradation in its value although year after year more than of 20% and an average home price is about $350000.
6.) San Jose – California
This is another entry from California in the list of the most expensive cities of USA. San Jose is another city similar likes of those in here, with high expenses of living, food and education and normal daily inclusive. Although, for the last few years, city rates have fallen down but the total expenditure does not get the least. The city is still an expensive city of USA and it is at number 6 in the list. The normal home price is about $370000 which is about 3% less than last years’ rates.
5.) Queens – New York
This is the hot spot location of New York, which has not found yet an escape from miserable crisis of housing, although providing the better than the rest. Total of 6% of mortgages are still in -ve equity. It is the second largest highly density and populated city in USA, and the 5th most expensive city place of USA. People always crave and wish to have a residence in here. The average home price is $525000, which is whooping 50% more than the last year’s sales.
4.) San Francisco – California
Another last entry to the list from California is San Francisco. It is in fact the most expensive of Californian state of USA. The average range of price here is more than 1 million dollar, making it the 4th most expensive city to live in USA. The least offered rate of a home was about $600000 which is still 7% more than last year’s the least value rate. Although, this is less than the highest grossing but expenses are expenses no matter how much.
3.) Honolulu – Hawaii
It was not the main plains of USA that saw the housing crisis but the Hawaiian city was also affected. It was under the same pain as others felt. Total of 11% of mortgages in the city are still in -ve equity. Although, the market price of city home sales and living standards have lowered down for the last year, yet is the 3rd expensive place of the America.
2.) Brooklyn – New York
Brooklyn is the 2nd most expensive place to live in USA. It is the most populated place in America as well. Although, the average range of price of homes are less than those in Queens but the expenses of other necessities of life makes it an expensive deal. The average price of home is offered for $512,000 which is about 1% more than the last year. The best thing about the place is the need and demand which makes it always in demand making it the reason of increasing expenses allotment.
1.) Manhattan – New York
Undoubtedly the place is awesome to live in. Although, it keeps the highest expense rate involved here but the people are always attracted here because of their need and demand of the place. It is the most densely populated place of USA. Considered to be the self-initiated auto-hub of USA, it employed the best sectors in public, private and commercialization as well simultaneously. An average rate of home price in Manhattan is more than a Million Dollar making the city to grab the first spot in the list. In fact, the price is discounted one only if you are allowed because the normal price is around $ 2 million.
