Mount Pomiu is said to be the part of the Four Girls Mountain, which is a natural reserve in China. 7. Baintha Brakk

The total elevation of this mountain range is 7285 m. The first ascent in this mountain was attempted by Doug Scott and Chris Bonington on 13th July 1977. It is one of the hardest peaks in the whole world. The second attempt to climb on this mountain range was made in the year 2001 after a gap of whopping twenty four years. This mountain range is situated to the north side of the Biafo Glacier.

The easiest way to climb this mountain range is through the Diamir i.e. the west face.
3. Gasherbrum IV
The mountain range which is at the number third spot in our list is Gasherbrum IV. This mountain range is situated in the country of Pakistan. The total elevation of this mountain range is reported to be 7925 m. This mountain range is the part of the Baltoro Muztagh, Karakoram Range. The first ascent to this mountain range was done by Walter Bonatii and Carlo Mauri on 6th August 1958. This mountain range is very similar to the K2 mountain range and only differs in the sense that this mountain range is slightly steeper.
Kanchenjunga which is the third highest mountain in the whole world is on the number second spot in our list of the top ten most difficult mountains to climb. The total elevation of this mountain range is reported to be 8586 m. This mountain range is located on the India Nepal border and is extremely dangerous if you are planning to climb this mountain range. There is a huge number of death rates on this mountain range and every expert have termed Kanchenjunga as one of the most difficult mountain to climb because of the avalanches and other weather related problems.
K2 is at the top most position in our list of the most difficult mountain to climb. In fact K2 is also the second highest mountain in the world. The total elevation of this mountain range is reported to be 8611 m. K2 is a part of the Karakoram Range and this lies on the border of China and Pakistan. This mountain range is mostly climbed from the Pakistan side as from the China’s side it is more difficult to climb. Climbing on this mountain means one will have to cross a glacier, steep rocks and will have to face several environmental issues also. These all are the reason why climbing on K2 is said to be most dangerous in whole world.
